An Open Letter to the Members of @TeamCalWEAR:
YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. All of you.
We exist today, and do what we do, because of YOU. (Not me, YOU.)
There are days that make our hearts full. 
Dogs get out of jail. They recover from pneumonia. We teach them how to play. We place them in paradise.
Then there are days that make our hearts sink. 
In the last 90 days, our group has had to make some tough decisions. We’ve been bit. We’ve been stitched. We’ve been stapled. We’ve been glued. We’ve bled. We’ve cried. We’ve had to say no. And we’ve had to say, “enough.”
(All this in between dealing with people who make our heads scratch. And brains explode. 
)
There will be days you feel like giving up.
There will be days you feel like giving in.
But don’t.
If you need to, take a break. 
Order a box of Cadbury eggs and knock ‘em back with a glass of wine. Dip in the pool. Gobble up a flat of strawberries. 
Go love on your own dogs and do something else for a bit. 
Cry it out if you need to.
But don’t quit.
Don’t quit because we have more work to do, and without you, there is no us, and without us, there’s no saving them.
Print this photo of the NINE DOGS we’ve placed in the last couple of weeks. Look at them and know that YOU got them to where they are today.

When we’re all allowed to get together again, let’s meet at Greg’s bar to share war stories and compare battle wounds. (Literally.
