Bailey

January 12, 2021 //  by Kim//  5 Comments

UPDATE: BAILEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED WITH HER BROTHER BONES!!!!!!!

MEET BAILEY. Bailey (blue Weimaraner in the below photos) is about 8 years old and very sweet and affectionate. She is a bit shy but well-mannered and gentle. Bailey is very patient and loves hanging out anywhere as long as it’s with you! Walks well on a leash but she has high prey drive, so need to keep her in check if there are birds or cats around. Bailey is not an appropriate fit for a home with cats or birds. Bailey would do great with an easy-going dog (preferably her brother, Bones, who is the gray Weimaraner in the below photos).

Bailey has had some basic training and has good house manners. She has also shown some separation anxiety (pacing, and occasionally barking). Bailey would prefer a house where she can be included in most activities. She has had some obedience training, has wonderful house manners, walks well on a leash and is a fantastic car rider. Bailey loves going on walks and has a good foundation in training. She is a very smart girl who has quickly learned the house rules and knows basic obedience commands in her foster home. Bailey does well will other dogs and well behaved children. Not cat-friendly.

SIZE – Below average breed standard (50 lbs)
MEDICAL STATUS – On ongoing, inexpensive meds for urinary incontinency (proin); currently being treated for a stubborn ear infection
HOUSETRAINED – Yes
CRATE TRAINED – Unknown
GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS – Yes
GOOD WITH CATS – No
GOOD WITH CHILDREN – Yes

Hi. I had donated to Zoey’s care in December and was checking back to see how she is doing. I lost my beautiful blue girl last year to cancer and am seeking a new buddy for my sweet weim, Riley. I know some other weim rescue folks– Keri Pink, Tera Cunningham and Jennifer McCullough [Hans Weim / Greener Days Ahead]. I adopted my Riley through Jennifer.

I am interested in Bailey or Suede. I am an experienced weim owner.
I work at home, have a quite house with a hubby [ kid at college] and a fenced yard — but take daily walks with Riley. He is my constant “shadow.”

    I would love to connect – Chris 484 574 0621
