Meet Cami and Gunner

July 18, 2018 //  by Kim//  Leave a Comment

EVER WOKE UP ONE DAY AND THOUGHT TO YOURSELF, “I’d love to have a Weimaraner pair. Maybe a blue and a gray. Or a boy and a girl.” Well…

MEET CAMI (gray female) AND GUNNER (blue male). 🙂

Both dogs are about eight years old. About four years ago, their original family’s son was diagnosed with an allergy to dogs, so the two were re-homed together. Fast forward to June 2018 when both dogs ended up at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter. Gunner’s microchip led him back to his original family. Unfortunately, that family had relocated to Virginia and were unable to take the two back. Fortunately for CalWEAR, they called us and asked us for our help.

Enter COOPER AND NICKY, our volunteer extraordinaires, who came together to bust both Cami and Gunner out of the Baldwin Park shelter in LA.

Cami and Gunner are both being fostered with Nicky in Carlsbad, CA. Both dogs are family dogs, housebroken, spayed and neutered, current on their vaccinations, and need a permanent place to call their home. Please contact us at hello@CalWEAR.org if you might be interested.

Thank you! – Team CalWEAR
