MEET WILLA. Willa decided one evening that she was DONE in the place where she was residing (we’re not going to call it a “home”), so she packed her bags and waited silently for her freedom ride. That ride came in the middle of the night and whisked her away on the pretense that she’d be right back. Of course, that wasn’t going to happen, but now that she’s free, Willa needs a new, safe place to call her home.
Willa is a girl. Let’s say she’s of average adult age, not too young, not too old. Perfectly healthy. Spayed. Up to date on shots. Incredibly sweet and loving. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle under the sheets. She doesn’t mind a fresh start, so a new name is actually quite welcome. GREAT WITH CHILDREN. GOOD WITH CATS. But please, no other dogs.
Willa also needs to be in a place where her people are home all the time, at least in the beginning. The poor girl currently believes that if someone leaves her, it may be days or weeks before they come back, and the subsequent anxiety gets the best of her.
Please let us know if you or anyone you know might have room to foster and/or adopt this deserving girl. Email us at hello@CalWEAR.org. Thank you!
