MEET WINSTON.

⁣A Good Samaritan found this 10-12 month old Weimaraner and put out a plea for a rescue to step up. (No tags, no chip) Winston is currently in the care of Stephanie at ThePawerfulRescue and is listed by CalWEAR to help get the word out.

So now we need your help! Because Winston has sooo much energy and was never socialized, he will require an EXPERIENCED dog owner/foster. (He is just an insecure pup that is unsure of other dogs while on walks and becomes reactive.)

Winston is extremely affectionate with people, a total cuddle bug, but definitely needs a LOT of exercise.

Winston will have a 30 day stray hold until he becomes available for adoption. We are also seeking a trainer to work with him one on one.

MEET WINSTON.

With this boy at your side, the mailman’s arrival will ALWAYS be announced. Vocal sirens will go off for the trash collector. Alerts will sound for the neighbor kid selling magazine subscriptions. When he’s feeling spicy, he’ll also let you know when the furnace goes on. Or goes off. Or goes on again. Or off again.

Crickets will scatter.

Dust will spread.

The smoke alarm will cry out in defeat.

But if this is good for you, or you know how to socialize and acclimate a dog like Winston so that he no longer feels the need to alert the world of every little movement, give us a shout.

Should you take him home, you’d be rewarded with the world’s sweetest boy. In less than three minutes, he’ll attach himself to you and supervise your every move. If working in your home office, he’ll keep you company. He’ll even fall asleep sitting under the table because he thinks you need to be protected. And then he’ll fall over and wake himself up. At night he’s not happy unless he’s touching you.

Seriously. He will IDOLIZE you.

Winston is between 1-2 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Currently located in North Los Angeles.
