Charlie needs a new home because after eight years together, his family’s housing situation has changed.
Like many Weimaraners, Charlie is still energetic and spry at the age of eight (aren’t these the BEST years, anyhow?!), gets along great with other dogs, adult cats (no kittens, please), and children; he lives with them now.
Charlie knows how to use the dog door, is reliably housebroken, enjoys chasing lizards and squirrels, and walks great with a gentle leader. He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball, and shows affection by nuzzling on his people. Known commands include sit, stay, down, and play dead.
Charlie doesn’t like being alone, and will therefore do best in a home with other dogs. He is not crated trained but is trustworthy loose in the house.
Charlie is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Please contact us if you’d like to meet him! Charlie is currently located in Ramona, CA.
