MEET DUSTY.
Dusty’s original owner abandoned him with a family member. Six months later, they made the decision to bring him down to the Hesperia Animal Shelter. Good thing too, because shelter staff saw that he was brought in dangling off his leash by the neck. 
Despite being mistreated, Dusty remains very friendly and sweet. He is about 7 yrs old. The surrendering family indicated he got along with kids, and never tried escaping their yard, even though they only kept him outdoors and never inside.
Dusty is getting neutered today. We plan to get him into a foster home tomorrow.
