CONGRATS TO PEPPER on his first annual “gotcha day!!!” And thank you Nathan and Lisa for joining the CalWEAR Foster Fail club with this cheerful dude. 
“Today marks 1 year since we busted Mr. Pepper from the San Jacinto shelter. He has blossomed so much since that first day. You can no longer see his ribs, his coat is now a velvety soft silvery beige, he actually knows several commands (this dog had 0 training), his teeth have way less tartar, he knows how to properly snuggle with a human, and he has a forever sidekick and snuggle buddy in Ms. Gracie. One thing that’s stayed the same is his playful spirit and the joy he finds in simple things. Like rolling over, wriggling around with his tongue hanging out to scratch his back on the living room rug, jumping up, doing a 360 spin and landing in a play bow to elicit playtime from Gracie or whoever’s nearby. So glad this special little mongrel found his way into our pack.
