MEET LARA.
Location: Indio, CA
Lara is a beautiful, sweet six-year-old girl who was rescued almost three years ago by her current owner. (She had been abandoned and was found at the workplace.) Lara is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. Her favorite foods are peanut butter, peanut butter, and peanut butter. Bonus points if you stuff it into a Kong. In true princess fashion, she also nuzzles her people and whines for attention. Ever the debutante, she’s kind enough NOT to jump at people for attention. Ever the Weimaraner, she will, however, steal food if left in a semi-reachable place.
Lara has excellent recall, but prefers not to obey other basic commands; she challenges her next family to drill that into her. HA!
Lara is wonderful with other dogs, and is currently living in a house with a cat now. Interaction is only ‘visual,’ and on a full supervision basis. (We don’t recommend that Lara gets placed in a home with cats.)
