MEET FAYE!!!!
OMG! What is the perfect day like in the life of a Rescue Volunteer? Today was one of those days. Long (2 hour) drive to Bonita Shelter to pick up a GEM of a 7 year old girl whose family adopted her from same shelter 5 months ago only to take her back …why?? you ask??! Well, typical Weim behavior….clingy, velcro, slight anxiety, chews her blanket, stubborn, doesn’t like the Vet, doesn’t like her nails trimmed..to name a couple. The POSITIVE on the form when they banished her to the shelter…she LOVES her ball, she loves her family., she is positive, happy and friendly. She is smart, confident playful, yet calm. The REAL reason we will never know….but for me, I got to meet her, get smothered with playful kisses, play ball with her, get dragged by her (yes she pulls a little!)..all I know is she deserves a wonderful home. She is beautiful in mind, body and spirit. She has a natural tail. She knows all basic commands. She is spayed and up to date on everything!
