LOOKING FOR A GRAY DOG WITH PIECES OF FLAIR?!
Meet our youngest boy. Barely clocking in at a year old, this fella came to us from a Good Samaritan who took care of him (and his pit bull “brother”) after the family moved away, leaving both dogs in the backyard without food, water, or shelter.
The Good Samaritan believed him to be a Weimaraner, but upon physical evaluation at intake, we actually determined that he’s a Fawn Doberman. We suppose he could also be a Weimaraner with dobe marks, or tan points. (And CalWEAR has had a few of those!) But…does it matter?! We didn’t have time to waffle on whether or not he was a Weim; he needed help so we just took him in.
This gem of a dog is now safely tucked into foster care. His current mamma Taylore has already gotten some weight on him and enrolled him in basic obedience classes.
Anyone out there want to meet this sweet dude?! Email us at hello@CalWEAR.org.
