MEET ROSCO! If you’re looking for a nice gray boy who ISN’T destructive, NEVER touches anything that isn’t his, DOESN’T CHEW on stuff, and LOVES to snuggle, you’ve come to the right place! Bonus: He’s good by himself if his family is working all day, AND he’s crate trained.
Rosco has a known birthday of April 21, 2012. He comes to us all the way from Costa Rica, and needs a new home because his parents are getting a divorce and his mom is now working 18 hours/day to make ends meet. She feels AWFUL that she isn’t around for him as much as she would like to. Thankfully, she came to CalWEAR as an alternative to releasing him to the local shelter.
Because Rosco is from Costa Rica, he has a full/natural tail! He hasn’t lived with kids, but he’s friendly with him when he comes across them. He’s live with two poodles and gets along with them just fine, but sometimes, other big dogs at the park make him nervous. He enjoys smaller dogs, but unfortunately, we have no idea how he does around cats. His favorite toys are balls and ropes.
Back in 2013, Rosco tore a tendon and had knee surgery. Today, he sports a slight limp but is otherwise active and healthy! Please reach out to us at hello@CalWEAR.org if you’d like to meet him. He’s a LOVE of a dog and deserves a great family to call his own in 2018. Thank you!
