Tristee

MEET TRISTEE. Five years old, blue, spayed, and incredibly sweet.

Also, horribly shy and unsocialized.

Tristee came to CalWEAR in mid-January from Northern Utah. Her owner had previously lost his German Shepard, and in a hasty moment of needing a new companion, answered an ad for Tristee. He picked her up over Thanksgiving and realized quickly that he was in over his head. After a few weeks of unsuccessfully being able to work with Tristee on her fearful behavior and leash reactivity, he called rescue for help.

Tristee is a beautiful girl, and incredibly loyal to people she knows. Unfortunately, she’s also very insecure (likely the product of indiscriminate breeding) and poorly socialized, so we feel Tristee would do best in a quiet environmentment, e.g. with a single person or pair of adults. Bonus points for a rural setting with no other dogs around (to minimize her reactivity/fearfulness to them).

Tristee is located in Lancaster, CA and her adoption fee is $500.
